Designed with Worimi-Biripi artist Jake Simon. Our Worimi Waves men’s swim brief tells a story of the land, sea and skies of the Worimi Aboriginal people.

Artwork Story

This artwork is associated with the land, sea and skies of the Worimi Aboriginal people on the east-coast of Australia.

In traditional Aboriginal culture the skyscape was believed to be a reflection of the land and waterways that fell beneath it. Some Aboriginal communities would describe the galactical Milky Way as a river running through the sky.

In Jake’s artwork the vibrant ‘waves’ of colour are symbolic of the salt and fresh waters of Worimi country. The kaleidoscopic colour pallet emulates a rainbow, reflecting this astral connection between Worimi country and the heavens. Dots and lines move through each wave as a symbolic representation of energy flowing in harmony between the aerial, aquatic and terrestrial plains.

Our Beliefs

  • Artist First. Always.

We value our artists in everything we do. We work closely together to bring their artworks to life.

We pay artist royalties on the full retail price - even during sales - because we'd never devalue their work. And our artists guide where our community contributions go.

  • Business is a force for change

We believe business should create opportunities and drive change.

Giving back is central to who we are. That's why we proudly contribute 25% of profits to First Nations artists and communities.

  • Storytelling Matters

We value storytelling as a tradition and artform. As custodians, we protect these stories through our work with artists and the way their art is translated.

Every piece honours its story, and when you wear it, you help ensure the story lives on.

  • Culture Is Everything

Culture shapes how we see, speak, move, and create. Every design continues a deeper story. Through fashion, we honour culture and celebrate the people and stories behind it.

  • Art Should Feel Good

The fabric, design, ethos and the impact should all align. We want people to look good, feel good and do good. Creativity is about expression, connection, inclusivity and a sense of belonging.

These look great on

Comfortable sexy and fast drying stretchy fabric. Light weight with decent leg elastic. A vibrant print but pastel colours stop it from looking too bright. I really like these.
